1. My device has successfully added, but remains “Online”.
Feedback: just added device needs 1-2 min to connect to your router and the Internet. If you stay online for a long time, please judge the green status LED problem:
1.1. Green LED flashes quickly once and repeats, which means that the device failed to connect to the router. The reason may be that you entered the wrong WiFi password or your device is too far from the router, which causes a weak WiFi signal. The device can not be added to the 5G-wifi-router, only the 2.4G-wifi is OK. In the end, make sure your router is MAC-open.
1.2. Green LED slowly flashes once and repeats itself, which means that the device is connected to the router and server, but it failed to be added to the list of devices. Then turn the device on again, if it still does not work, just add the device again.
1.3. Green LED flashes twice quickly and repeats, this means that the device is connected to the router, but it failed to connect to the server. So please confirm your WiFi router works normally.
2. why the APP can not find the device in a pairing state?
Answers: That because of your cache phone. Please close the phone’s WLAN then open after one minute. At the same time, please turn off the device if you can, then power up to try again.
3. My WiFi has expired, can I connect devices to LAN?
Answers: the Sonoff SV supports to be controlled by LAN (Update in 15/10/2017, LAN function has been stopped).
4. the green led keeps off, even if the device is on. Press the button, but the device does not work.
